Point.0 A Collaborative Performance
Presented by the Department of Dance, UI School of Music, School of Art and Art History, and the Department of Theatre Arts
Students from the University of Iowa Department of Dance, School of Music, School of Art and Art History, and Department of Theatre Arts will present an interdisciplinary performance created through the collaboration of choreographers, musicians, poets, composers, designers, and stage managers. This one-of-a-kind performance will take place in the Space Place Theater.
Point.0 (point-zero) is an absurdist inter-dimensional, multi-media performance exploring the futility of time, the construct of spectatorship, and the nature of singularity within interdependent structures. With a sense of humor, diverse and delightful physicality, and original music and writing by graduate students from the Department of Dance, School of Music, and Tippie College of Business, Point. 0 invites its audience to both intellectually engage and be swept away by our interventions, queries, and passions.
