Clinical Conference: Glaucoma (Mansour F. Armaly Lecture)

Dr. Mae Gordon is a professor and Director of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Core at Washington University in St. Louis. She has been a leader of the Ocular Hypertension Treatment Study (OHTS) which has been one of the most successful and influential treatment studies in ophthalmology. She has also served as member of the National Advisory Eye Council for the NIH. Dr. Gordon also received the 2022 Helen Keller Prize for Vision Research for designing and managing a clinical trial that lasted more than 20 years and greatly increased the understanding of glaucoma progression and prevention.
