The conversation will focus on what it means to be a first-generation biomedical science doctoral student. This is an opportunity to talk about our experiences and identities, to unpack the hidden curriculum, and to build and strengthen a network of support.

Graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff are all invited to attend.

First-generation doctoral students are defined as those who are the first of their generation to both complete a bachelor’s degree and pursue a doctoral degree.
