Title: Thinking Game for Maxillary Full Arch Implant Restorations

Instructor: Dr. Aaron Cho

This course will be about how to approach the maxillary fill arch implant restorations. Now, full-arch implant restoration treatment is very important and popular because of CAD CAM technology and new strong material development. The lecture will provide the idea of how to make a treatment plan for maxillary edentulous patients and include clinical steps for this treatment.

At the completion of this presentation, the participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the logical treatment planning for maxillary edentulous arch by using full-arch implant restorations;
  • Explain how to make a reasonable diagnostic approach for maxillary full arch implant restoration; and
  • Recognize how to make a treatment sequence for full arch restorations for maxillary edentulous arch.

Dr. Aaron (Seok Hwan) Cho, DDS, MS, MS, FACP, FACD, CDT, is currently an Associate Professor and Department Chair (DEO) of Prosthodontics at University Iowa, College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. He was an associate professor and program director of graduate prosthodontics and director of the Post-Doctoral Implant Placement Program (PDIPP) at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas in 2017-2022. Cho is a board-certified prosthodontist as well as a certified master ceramist. Dr. Cho completed the Advanced Specialty Program in Prosthodontics at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry (former Baylor College of Dentistry), Dallas, Texas. Since then, he has worked at Marquette University School of Dentistry as a Clinic Director of the Graduate Program in Prosthodontics as well as a Pre-doctoral Program Director for Prosthodontics and Biomaterials. During the time at Marquette University, he received top student evaluations for his teaching for four successive years and was selected by the graduating classes of 2014 and 2015 to vest them with their academic hoods. Dr. Cho’s areas of interest for research and lecture are esthetic ceramic materials and CAD CAM technology for patient care.
