Poets Jane Gregory, Emily Sieu Liebowitz, and Anastacia-Reneé will read from their recent work.
Writers’ Workshop graduate Jane Gregory will read from her new collection Yeah No. Gregory is also the author of the poetry collection My Enemies, and is co-founder and co-editor of Nion Editions, a chapbook press. She lives in Oakland.
Writers’ Workshop graduate Emily Sieu Liebowitz will read from National Park. Liebowitz is also the author of the chapbook In Any Map. Her writing has appeared in Pen Poetry Series,The Iowa Review, jubilat, and Lana Turner. She lives in Brooklyn, NY, where she co-edits LVNG Magazine.
Civic Poet from fellow U.S. City of Literature Seattle, Anastacia-Reneé will read from her recent poetry collections (v.) and Forget It. These poems are stories of blackness, queerness, and womanhood and the combination of all the identities we hold externally and internally. Anastacia-Reneé is also the author of 26, and Answer(Me). She has received poetry fellowships from Cave Canem, Hedgebrook, and VONA. She is the Writer-in-Residence at Hugo House, and lives in Seattle.
