Carrie Bearden, PhD, will present a lecture on Sept. 29 at 12:15 p.m. Dr. Bearden is a Professor of Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences and Department of Psychology in the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.

The Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture Series features top-tier scientists and physicians performing high-impact research in a variety of areas. Most lectures, with few exceptions, will be held on the third Thursday of each month during the academic year.
