Bridging Our World, is a five-day display featuring the flags of the countries represented by international students attending the university during the fall semester. The flags will be displayed across The Iowa Memorial footbridge Monday, October 15 to Friday, October 19.

A dedication ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 15, at the IMU River Terrace, north end (rain location: Black Box Theatre, 2nd floor IMU).

The United States Flag Code was used to determine proper order and procedures for display of the flags. The flags will be installed daily starting at 7:00 a.m. by faculty and student members of the UI Army ROTC, and taken down every evening starting at 5:00 p.m. by members of the Veteran Student Association, assisted by students from other groups. 

The flags will be displayed again for five days in May to recognize the international students who are on campus during the spring semester.
