Prof. Octav Chipara — PI of "Shallow and Deep Personalization for Hearing Aids" NSF-funded grant — will be one of three featured speakers at this NSF | NIH Symposium entitled "Smart Health Frontiers: Driving Innovation with Fundamental - Technology to Improve the Lives of Older Adults"

Chipara and fellow Smart Health researchers [inc. UIowaCS co-PI Bijaya Adhikari and Inyong Choi and Yu-Hsiang Wu of communication sciences and disorders] are actively pursuing advancements in technology that improve the lives of older adults.
