Journalist Elaine Weiss will read from her new book, The Woman’s Hour, which tells of the ratification of the 19th amendment granting women the right to vote.

Weiss is an award-winning journalist and author of Fruits of Victory: The Woman’s Land Army in the Great War. A MacDowell Colony Fellow, her work has appeared in The Atlantic, Harper's, The New York Times, and on NPR.
