Mechanisms of Traumatic Brain Injury Augmenting Clearance of Bacteria

Dr. Remick’s laboratory studies inflammatory responses after sepsis/trauma, as well as in asthma. He has published extensively on the pathogenesis of sepsis/trauma using clinically relevant murine models, and has provided important insights into the cytokine response after sepsis/trauma and the mechanism of injury to specific organs. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Remick is active nationally serving on multiple study sections and editorial boards. He is the past president of the Shock Society and the American Society of Investigative Pathology, and has made key contributions to the Society for Leukocyte Biology and the Association of Pathology Chairs.
