Description: School barriers are directly influencing student success. Change is therefore integral for students and families. School avoidance is where a student chooses to be absent from school because their schooling experiences (e.g. school climate, persons or policies, or physical space) have negatively and emotionally impeded their education. This can change if we work together to gather socio-emotional learning data and use it for immediate action.

Learning Goals: 1) Participants will obtain knowledge of school avoidance. 2) Participants will learn what type of data to collect to understand school avoidance. 3) Participants will receive tips for working together for change.
