India Winterim Information Session

This 3-sh course has been offered by the College of Engineering since 2012 and has taken more than a hundred students to India over the winter break to learn about the freshwater crisis affecting rural agricultural areas of India. We learn from our partners in India who develop rainwater harvesting and groundwater capture projects to enhance local freshwater supplies, and engage in communications and community building efforts to empower people of rural India. By hands-on data collection and projects, we learn about these activities and inform the work of our Indian partners. This course is open to all majors.
