College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Virtual Commencement Ceremony
All majors in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will be recognized.
Interim Dean Sara Sanders and UI President Bruce Harreld will confer degrees. Graduate College Dean John Keller and President Harreld will confer an Honorary Doctorate of Science upon Ellen Stofan, who is the John and Adrienne Mars Director of the National Air and Space Museum.
Cornelia Lang, associate dean for undergraduate education and professor of physics and astronomy will introduce Stofan. Student speaker will be Cassandra Chia, of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who will receive a degree in English and Creative Writing and a minor in Theatre Arts.
