Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture - Dr. Gökhan Hotamisligil

Dr. Gökhan Hotamisligil will visit campus on September 12, 2019 to present a lecture (title TBA) at 4:00pm in the Prem Sahai Auditorium (1110A MERF). Dr. Hotamisligil is the James Stevens Simmons Professor of Genetics and Metabolism, Director of the Sabri Ulker Center for Nutrient, Genetic and Metabolic Research at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.    

This lecture is co-sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center.
 

The Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture Series features top-tier scientists and physicians performing high-impact research in a variety of areas. Most lectures, with few exceptions, will be held on the third Thursday of each month during the academic year.
