IBL Center Guest Speaker Professor William Henderson of Indiana University will present on “Human Capital for One-to-Many Legal Solutions.”
   
   One-to-Many Legal Solutions are a mix of legal products and services that enable teams of lawyers and allied professional to perform legal work in ways that drive up quality and transparency while reducing overall per-unit. In essence, lawyers became more productive, which hold out the possibility of increased access and affordability for ordinary citizens and much needed aid to large organizational clients struggling with a relentless increase in legal cost and complexity. One-to-many legal solutions, however, necessarily require multidisciplinary teams in which law is but one crucial input. In addition, building these teams is capital intensive and potentially very risky, particularly in initial change period. This talk provides some preliminary thoughts on how the legal profession and legal education and work together to surmount these challenges.
