In this webinar, learn from the experiences of a four-year European research project that sought to engage citizens from all walks of life on air quality and climate change, and involve them in decision making processes to influence the development of their cities and regions.

Hear from science communicators, game developers and engagement practitioners, and engage in discussion about the types of tools that work for different audiences, from mobile games to schools activities, the challenges and rewards of working with different cultures, and the steps that can be taken to keep the momentum going during times of disruption.

You’ll leave with some top tips for your future engagements as well as resources to use and share when you next engage with citizens. Many of the resources can be shared and used digitally, allowing you to continue your work during lockdown!

Speakers:

Dr Margarida Sardo and Dr Laura Fogg-Rogers (UWE Bristol, UK)

Andy King (PlayWest, UK)

Eva Csobod and Péter Szuppinger (The Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe - REC, Hungary)
