Join us for this one hour Zoom webinar to address ongoing human rights issues facing indigenous populations in the US and recent developments such as the July 9 Supreme Court decision recognizing much of Eastern Oklahoma as tribal land. 

Speakers:

  • Dave Archambault: (Lakota: Tokala Ohitika) Senior Fellow for the University of Colorado’s First Peoples Worldwide, and the former Chairman of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe
  • Dean Kevin Washburn: (Chickasaw) University of Iowa College of Law, former Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior
  • Larry Baca: (Pawnee) former Deputy Director of the Office of Tribal Justice, United States Department of Justice, and former President of the Native American Bar Association
