The Research Development Office, CLAS Grant Support Office, and College of Engineering are hosting a 4-part virtual NSF CAREER Award grant writing seminar, Planning and Writing Successful NSF CAREER Proposals on Friday, January 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 10am-12pm each day (8 total hours). The seminar is presented by Dr. Peg AtKisson (AtKisson Training Group).

  • Crafting a Compelling Overview
  • Designing Your Education and Research Plans
  • Discussing the Literature, Preliminary Work, and Significance

Eligibility

Assistant professors (or equivalent) who are eligible to submit NSF CAREER awards are welcome to register for this seminar.

Registration

No cost to register. Register here by Wednesday, January 6, 2021. A Zoom link will be sent to all registrants prior to January 8, 2021. Registration includes one electronic copy of the Handbook for Planning and Writing Successful Grant Proposals (link to excerpt).
