Sustainable Dining Panel
Representatives from the dining programs of each of Iowa’s three state Universities (UI, UNI, and ISU) and Grinnell College will have a panel discussion on recent advances their programs have made in the domain of local food sourcing, food waste tracking, reduction, and disposal, accessibility to those with dietary restrictions, and/or other sustainable practices. Each representative will then be given time to expand on sustainability and accessibility goals their respective dining program has set for the coming years, and delineate the challenges that must be overcome in order for these goals to be achieved.
