Dr. Sekar Kathiresan will present a lecture on April 21 at 4:00pm in the Prem Sahai Auditorium (1110A MERF) with a Zoom option. Dr. Kathiresan is Professor of Medicine in the Center for Genomic Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is Co-Founder and CEO of Verve Therapeutics, a biotechnology company pioneering a new approach to the care of cardiovascular disease, transforming treatment from chronic management to single-course gene editing medicines.  Please contact Sonya Housholder for the Zoom passcode.

The Distinguished Biomedical Scholar Lecture Series features top-tier scientists and physicians performing high-impact research in a variety of areas. Most lectures, with few exceptions, will be held on the third Thursday of each month during the academic year.
