Are we going to run out of topsoil in 50 years? Why does Iowa grow so much corn? Join the Environmental Law Society for a discussion about agricultural policy. Ilsa DeWald, Johnson County Local Foods Coordinator, and Giselle Bruskewitz, Program Director for Iowa Valley Resource Conservation & Development, will give a presentation followed by discussion. Coffee and donuts will be served. Afterward, there will be an optional volunteer harvesting event with Grow: Johnson County.
