Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities Jackson County Showcase
Nearly 200 University of Iowa students have been working with Eastern Iowa officials and residents to complete 36 local projects. Join us at various locations in downtown Maquoketa for presentations by student teams and conclude the afternoon with a special reception at the Maquoketa Brewery for socializing and a short program.
Student project presentations - 3:00-3:45 p.m., 4: –4:45 p.m.

These collaborations are made possible through the Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities (IISC), the University of Iowa’s foremost community engagement program. IISC connects University of Iowa faculty and students with local communities to complete mutually beneficial projects.
