DVIP training/information session
Looking for some more volunteer opportunities? Have an interest in pediatrics or working with victims of domestic violence? Then consider volunteering with the Domestic Violence and Intervention Program (DVIP). My name is Eric Schnieders an M1 and DVIP coordinator for the McCowen Learning Community. Four Saturdays this semester we will host play-dates for children staying at the DVIP shelter house here in Iowa City. Playdates last from 10 AM to 12 PM. Once the dates are finalized a sign-up genius will be sent out for everyone to sign up.
To volunteer, everyone must attend a training/information session who has not done so already. This session will take place on Tuesday January 16th at 12:00 PM in MERF 2166 (right next to McCowen). Please bring your own lunch, but snacks will be provided.
If you have any questions about DVIP or how to get involved shoot me an email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or text 563-581-9106.
