Passing the Torch: Black Student Leader Transition Retreat

As part of the Black Excellence Weekend. The Black Student Leader Retreat will focus core elements for students groups to prosper and be successful in their future endeavors. How will they be remembered? How will they continue? And how can they capitalize on their successes? These are the questions to be answered at this retreat. We will have guest from UISG and other faculty departments to help facilitate workshops for the existing or new exec board members.

We invite all Black student orgs at the university of Iowa to particpate in this fun, empowering, and learning environment. "You can't lead the people if you dont love the people. You cant save the people if you dont serve the people." - Dr. Cornell West
