The Dybbuk of Dachau
By Charles Green
Directed by Eric Forsythe

The Dybbuk of Dachau follows the inner life of Yael Bat-Gidon, a young Jewish woman, and her son, Asher, as they navigate the nightmare world of the German death camp – struggling, day after day, to simply survive. But when a supernatural presence begins to terrorize the mother and son, they are forced to travel into the farthest depths of this Hell – in order to save the soul of Yael’s dead sister, Dvora – and free themselves from Dachau.

This production contains traumatic situations involving a child, emotional violence, and references to The Holocaust. Performances will use strobe effects.

Tickets for Gallery Productions are available in the Theatre lobby one hour before showtime. Tickets are $5 for non-students and free for University of Iowa students with a valid ID.
