2019 Regional Preceptor Development Program--Swisher
The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the UI College of Pharmacy will host Regional Preceptor Development Continuing Education Programs throughout the state of Iowa.
Program Title: "Integrating Effective Feedback into Your Experiential Rotation"
Event Description: This presentation will focus on what feedback is, what it is NOT and highlight its importance to a student’s professional development. Participants will identify barriers to feedback and how these may be overcome. Participants will also learn a model for providing feedback and be able to evaluate feedback from selected examples provided.
Program Schedule:
5:30 pm-6:00 pm: Registration
6:00 pm-7:00 pm: Dinner, Networking, and Announcements from the UI College of Pharmacy
7:00 pm-8:00 pm: CE program
The program and dinner are offered FREE to all current UI College of Pharmacy Preceptors. Pre-registration is required. Participants will receive 0.1 CEU (1 hour) of continuing pharmacy education credit.
