Feb 5, 2020
01:00 PM - 03:00 PM
University Capitol Centre, 2750 Training Room
200 South Capitol Street, Iowa City, IA 52240
The LGBTQ Safe Zone Project is a campus-wide program that offers a visible message of inclusion, affirmation, and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people in the university community.
Phase II is a case study-based, application-focused session. Participants will gain the tools they need to not only provide resources, but to become an active participant in making our campus a more supportive, inclusive, and affirming place for LBGTQ people. After completing Phase II, participants will receive a Safe Zone poster to put up in their workspace to show visible affirmation and support for members of the LGBTQ Community.
