History alumnus Dr. Paul Heer (MA History ‘82), adjunct professor in the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, will speak about The Challenge from China: What Would Kennan Do? Dr. Heer is a veteran analyst of East Asia who spent three decades within the US intelligence community, and author of the recent Mr. X and the Pacific: George F. Kennan and American Policy in East Asia.
