Preceptors, this is your opportunity to showcase your rotation experience!
Connect with student pharmacists and highlight the unique learning opportunities you offer.

Participation Options
On site and virtual options will be available. We have very limited availability for the virtual options. Therefore, we will be on a first come, first served basis with preference given to sites further distances away from the College.

On Site Info:

• Tables will be available. However, they are not a consistent size. On average, they are around 2-3' x 4-5'. Your display needs to fit on or behind the table. Access to electrical outlets is limited. We may need to consolidate preceptors from the same companies/healthcare systems onto the same table. Please plan accordingly.
• You may arrive and start setting up at 3:30 PM. Students will be invited to visit with you from 4 o 5:30 p.m.
• Feel free to bring materials to share at your table. We do not have space to display left over printed materials. Please take any remainders with you when you leave.
• The closest public parking lot to the College of Pharmacy building is the Field House Lot. This lot is south of the Field House (225 S. Grand Ave.), past the street formerly called "For the Kids Way" and currently named “Hawkeye Wave Way.”

Virtual Info:

• We are planning to have two screens in semi-private areas where students can interact with preceptors. If there is enough preceptor interest in the virtual format, we will attempt to add additional screens depending on the availability of classrooms.
• Preceptors will be assigned a 15-minute window to interact with students. We encourage you to initiate the conversation by briefly describing your site then opening up the conversation for student questions.
• Preceptors are welcome to give students their contact information. If a student wants to have a more in-depth conversation with you, please give them your email address or phone number. Our goal is to stay on schedule and be sure all preceptors are given their allotted amount of time.
• More details about the login process, etc. will be sent out in early April.

This event will be open to first, second, and third-year students.
Some students may have limited experience networking with other professionals. We encourage you to actively engage with them, rather than waiting for them to approach you.
