Next Generation Sequencing Interest Group - A complete strategy for characterizing on- and off-target CRISPR-Cas9 editing via target enrichment, NGS analysis
Apr 17, 2019
02:00 PM - 03:00 PM
Eckstein Medical Research Building, 283 EMRB (Seebohm Conference Room)
431 Newton Road, Iowa City, IA 52246
Genome editing with the CRISPR/Cas9 system is moving towards therapeutic applications, which drives an increased need for in-depth characterization of both on- and off-target genome editing events. IDT will present a workflow and useful guidelines for prediction, validation, quantification, and analysis of on- and off-target editing events using rhAmpSeqTM, a multiplexed, amplicon-based enrichment method. Data using this technology to compare on- and off-target editing events associated with different CRISPR/Cas9 nucleases will be discussed.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact in advance at
