Humanities Without Walls Info Session

The Obermann Center for Advanced Studies is proud to be a member of the Andrew W. Mellon–funded Humanities Without Walls (HWW) consortium, which fosters collaborative research and explores the contributions of humanities in the workplace.

HWW has provided the Obermann Center funding to help UI faculty prepare proposals for HWW seed grant applications (due in November 2021). To learn more about the seed grants and how to apply for them, we welcome you to attend one of our upcoming Zoom information sessions:

  • Monday, Feb. 15, 8:30-9:30 a.m. | REGISTER
  • Tuesday, Feb. 23, 3:30-4:30 p.m. | REGISTER

Free and open to all, but registration is required.

Humanities Without Walls (HWW) is a 16-member consortium of universities funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The University of Iowa via the Obermann Center is a consortial member. The HWW fosters collaborative research and explores the contributions of humanities in the workplace. The initiative is based at the Humanities Research Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
